Get out on the water at Lake Haigler for a peaceful paddle that works for fitness, fun, or just soaking in the scenery. You'll book a two-hour time slot (starting at 9am, with the latest slot at 6pm) and need to arrive within 15 minutes of your reservation time. Life jackets are provided for anyone 30 pounds and up; younger children need their own infant PFD from home. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome to join you on the kayak. Boat types are assigned on a first-come basis, so you won't be able to request a specific kayak style ahead of time. Reservations are required and made online or through guest services—no payments happen at the waterfront. Each person, including children of any age, needs their own registration ($16 per person for two hours; Greenway members get 20% off). Leave phones and valuables at home since the facility can't help recover lost items and swimming isn't permitted. The program runs rain or shine unless severe weather forces a cancellation, which comes with a full refund. You can cancel with a full refund if you do so more than 48 hours ahead.
