Kayak Rentals

Get out on the water and enjoy paddling across Lake Haigler, whether you're looking to stay active, unwind, or take in the natural scenery. Two-hour time slots start at 9 a.m., with the last rental beginning at 6 p.m. Both kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so options aren't guaranteed. Life jackets are provided for anyone weighing 30 pounds or more; families with younger children need to bring their own infant PFD from home. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome to join you on the water. Reservations are required and must be booked online or through guest services—no registration happens at the waterfront. Each person, including children of any age, needs their own registration. Rates are $16 per person for a two-hour session (Greenway members receive a 20 percent discount). Please plan to arrive within 15 minutes of your selected start time. Keep in mind that swimming and diving aren't permitted in Lake Haigler, and the site strongly recommends leaving phones and valuables at home. Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance qualify for a refund; less notice means no refund options.
