Get out on Lake Haigler for a peaceful paddle that works for fitness, relaxation, scenic enjoyment, or just plain fun. Two-hour rental slots begin at 9am and run through 6pm, with time to choose what works best for your family's schedule. Kayaks and paddleboards are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so availability of specific watercraft types isn't guaranteed. Life jackets are provided for anyone weighing 30 pounds or more; if your younger child needs an infant PFD, you'll need to bring one from home. Reservations are required and must be made online or through guest services—no walk-ups accepted. Registration costs $16 per person for a two-hour slot (members receive a 20% discount), and everyone participating needs their own registration, including children of all ages. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome aboard. Plan to arrive within 15 minutes of your start time. The Greenway runs these outings rain or shine unless severe weather forces a cancellation, which comes with a full refund. Standard cancellations made more than 48 hours ahead are refundable; those with less notice are not.
