Kayaking Clinic

Your family can discover paddling on beautiful Lake Haigler during this beginner-friendly clinic. The morning starts with everyone gathering for a safety briefing and instruction on how to properly enter, exit, and paddle a kayak. After the initial group lesson, participants can paddle at their own pace or work one-on-one with instructors in the water for additional guidance. It's a low-pressure, welcoming introduction to the sport. This program welcomes kids ages 8 and older (with an adult in their boat) and families of any experience level. Single kayaks cost $32 per person, while tandem kayaks are $48 for two paddlers. Greenway members receive a 20% discount. Just bring water shoes or secure sneakers, a water bottle, and a change of clothes—storage is available at the waterfront. Registration for the fall season opens September 1st. Rain doesn't stop the fun, though the clinic may be rescheduled only in case of severe weather.
