Kids Workshop at Home Depot
Free hands-on building workshop for kids at Home Depot.
Home Depot's Kids Workshops offer a hands-on creative experience designed for young builders and crafters. These free monthly events take place on the first Saturday, and each session features a new seasonal-themed project. Children ages five and up can participate with an adult, working through a guided craft activity right in the store. All supplies are provided—paint, tools, materials, and instructions—so there's nothing to bring except enthusiasm.
Every child who participates walks away with a kid-sized apron, a collectible pin, and a certificate celebrating their completion. The workshops run from 9 a.m. to noon, and Home Depot staff are on hand to assist families as needed. If the in-person experience doesn't work for your schedule, kits are available to pick up in-store or order online for home delivery. Since these workshops are popular and supplies are limited, arriving early is a smart idea. You can register online in advance to secure your spot.
