Learning for Littles

Learning for Littles

Early learning exploration at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden for young learners.

Learning for Littles is a free outdoor program designed for the youngest learners and their caregivers. Each 45-minute session features nature-themed activities including a read-aloud story, puppet entertainment, and hands-on fun tailored for children ages newborn through 4 years old. Sessions run from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. on alternating Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the spring and fall months, taking place at the picnic area near The Trailhead Store. No advance registration is needed—simply show up ready to enjoy time outside with your little one. If weather becomes problematic, the program moves to The Trailhead Store porch so families can still participate. This is a wonderful, budget-friendly way to introduce toddlers to nature-based learning while connecting with other families in your community.
