Learning for Littles

Learning for Littles is a free outdoor program designed for the youngest learners and their caregivers. Held in the picnic area near The Trailhead Store, each 45-minute session features nature-themed activities perfect for children ages newborn through 4 years old. Your little ones will enjoy a read-aloud story, puppet show, and hands-on activity, all while experiencing the outdoors together. Sessions run on alternating Wednesdays and Fridays from March through October, starting at 9 a.m. No registration is required—just show up and join in. If weather doesn't cooperate, the program moves to the covered porch at The Trailhead Store, so you can still participate rain or shine. It's a wonderful, no-pressure way to introduce your toddler to nature and learning in a relaxed setting.
