Learning for Littles

Bring your little ones (ages birth to 4) for a short, free outdoor learning session designed just for the youngest explorers and their caregivers. Each 45-minute gathering features a story read aloud, puppet entertainment, and a hands-on activity that introduces children to nature themes. Sessions run on alternating Wednesday and Friday mornings throughout the warmer months at the picnic area near The Trailhead Store. No advance sign-up is needed—just show up and join in! The program moves indoors to The Trailhead Store porch if weather turns bad, so rain won't cancel your plans. It's a low-pressure way to get outside, enjoy some interactive storytelling, and let your toddler play and explore in a welcoming, nature-focused setting.
