Learning for Littles

Learning for Littles is a free outdoor program designed for babies and toddlers ages 0–4, along with their caregivers. Each session includes a read-aloud story, puppet entertainment, and a hands-on nature activity. The program runs for 45 minutes in the morning at The Trailhead Store Picnic Area, giving young children a chance to explore and learn in a natural setting while parents connect with others in their community. No registration is required—just show up and join in. Sessions happen on alternating Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the year. If weather doesn't cooperate, the group moves to the covered porch at The Trailhead Store, so rain won't cancel your outing. This is a wonderful, budget-friendly way to introduce your little one to outdoor learning and nature-based activities.
