Learning for Littles

Learning for Littles brings early exploration and storytelling to your youngest learners. During this free 45-minute outdoor session, toddlers ages newborn through 4 and their caregivers gather at the picnic area near The Trailhead Store for nature-themed fun. Expect a read-aloud story, puppet entertainment, and a hands-on activity that invites little ones to engage with the natural world around them. No sign-up is required—simply show up ready to enjoy the outdoors. Sessions run from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on alternating Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the spring and fall season. If weather turns rainy or stormy, the program moves to the covered porch at The Trailhead Store, so your family can still participate rain or shine.
