Learning for Littles

Learning for Littles is a free, outdoor program designed for the youngest learners and their caregivers. Each 45-minute session features nature-themed activities that include a read-aloud story, puppet entertainment, and a hands-on activity perfect for children ages birth through 4. Sessions run on alternating Wednesday and Friday mornings from March through October, so there's plenty of opportunity to join throughout the seasons. No registration is required—just show up at the Trailhead Store Picnic Area and enjoy the experience. Sessions run from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m., giving families a quick, manageable outing before the day gets busy. If weather doesn't cooperate, the program moves to the Trailhead Store porch, so rain won't cancel your plans. It's a wonderful way for little ones to explore nature and enjoy stories together in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
