Learning for Littles

Learning for Littles

Nature learning program for little ones at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.

Learning for Littles is a free outdoor program designed for the youngest learners and their caregivers. Each 45-minute session features nature-themed activities perfect for children ages newborn through 4, including a read-aloud story, puppet play, and hands-on activities. Sessions happen on alternating Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the spring and summer months, giving families flexibility to drop in whenever it works for their schedule. No advance sign-up is needed—just show up at the picnic area near The Trailhead Store and join in. The program runs rain or shine, moving indoors to the store's porch if weather turns bad. It's a wonderful way for little ones to explore nature while enjoying stories and creative play in a relaxed, outdoor setting.
