Learning for Littles

Learning for Littles

Early-learning nature program for toddlers & preschoolers at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.

Learning for Littles is a free outdoor program designed for babies and toddlers ages 0–4 along with their caregivers. Each 45-minute session features nature-themed learning with a read-aloud story, puppets, and a hands-on activity. Sessions run from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. on alternating Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the spring and fall months, held at the picnic area near The Trailhead Store. No registration is required—just show up and join in. The outdoor setting means fresh air and natural surroundings for your little ones to explore and learn. If weather doesn't cooperate, the program moves to The Trailhead Store porch so sessions can still happen rain or shine. It's a great low-pressure way to introduce your toddler to nature and storytelling while connecting with other families in the community.
