Learning for Littles

Learning for Littles

Little ones learn about nature at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden's Trailhead.

Learning for Littles is a free outdoor program designed for the youngest learners and their caregivers. Each 45-minute session features a nature-themed experience that includes a read-aloud story, puppet entertainment, and a hands-on activity perfect for children ages newborn to 4 years old. Sessions run from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on alternating Wednesday and Friday mornings throughout the spring and fall season. No sign-up is required—just show up at the Trailhead Store Picnic Area ready to spend some time outdoors with your little one. If weather doesn't cooperate, the program moves to the covered porch area at the Trailhead Store, so rain won't cancel your outing. It's a casual, welcoming way to introduce toddlers to nature while enjoying a short, focused activity that fits easily into your morning schedule.
