Let the Music Play: Steinway Residency Series

The Mint Museum Uptown has partnered with the Steinway Piano Gallery to showcase live piano performances in the museum galleries. Every third Wednesday of the month, skilled pianists from the local and regional area take the stage for 45-minute performances. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience quality live music in an intimate museum setting without any ticket cost. The performances fit perfectly into a Wednesday evening outing, since the museum stays open until 9 p.m. on those nights, giving you time to catch the music, wander through open galleries, and grab dinner at the on-site restaurant if you'd like. If you or a family member needs accessibility accommodations, the museum staff is ready to help—just reach out to the Volunteer Internship and ADA Coordinator at [email protected] or (704) 337-2081 to arrange what you need.
