Lewis Family Gallery

The Lewis Family Gallery is a hands-on creative space where kids and adults can interact with the museum's collection in playful ways. Your family can make art together, tackle building and puzzle challenges, snap photos, and explore a special Romare Bearden collage playhouse. It's designed for visitors of all ages to learn while they play, making it a great option if your children enjoy interactive experiences over passive observation. Admission to the gallery is included with your general museum ticket, so there's no extra cost. The space maintains rigorous cleaning standards for visitor safety. If you have accessibility needs, the museum's Volunteer Internship and ADA Coordinator can help arrange accommodations—reach out at [email protected] or (704) 337-2081. You can also visit mintmuseum.org/accessibility for more details about what's available.
