Lewis Family Gallery

The Lewis Family Gallery offers a hands-on creative space where kids and adults can engage with the museum's collection together. Your family can make art, tackle building and puzzle challenges, take photos, and explore a playhouse-style installation inspired by artist Romare Bearden's collages. It's designed for visitors of all ages to play and learn side by side in an environment that encourages creativity and discovery. Entry to the gallery is included with general museum admission, so there's no extra cost. The museum maintains thorough cleaning protocols to keep the space safe for families. If you need accessibility accommodations or services during your visit, you can reach out to the museum's ADA Coordinator at [email protected] or by calling (704) 337-2081. More details about accessibility options are available on the Mint's website.
