Lewis Family Gallery

The Lewis Family Gallery offers a wonderfully interactive space where children and adults alike can engage directly with the museum's collection. Visitors will find plenty to do: create their own artwork, tackle building and puzzle challenges, snap photos, and explore a playhouse inspired by Romare Bearden's iconic collages. It's designed to spark creativity and curiosity while keeping families entertained together. This hands-on gallery is included with general admission to the Mint Museum, so there's no extra cost beyond your regular ticket. The museum maintains thorough cleaning protocols to keep the space safe and welcoming. If you need accessibility accommodations or services, the staff is ready to help—just reach out to the Volunteer Internship and ADA Coordinator at [email protected] or (704) 337-2081 for details.
