Lewis Family Gallery

The Lewis Family Gallery at Mint Museum Uptown is a hands-on space designed for families to explore the museum's collection together. Kids and adults can participate in art-making activities, tackle building and puzzle challenges, take photos, and play inside a Romare Bearden collage-themed playhouse. It's a creative environment where learning happens naturally through play, and the museum maintains thorough cleaning protocols to keep visitors safe. Best of all, a visit to the gallery is included with your general admission ticket—no extra cost. The space is open on select days throughout the week (check the museum's hours for details), making it convenient to fit into your family's schedule. If you need accessibility accommodations or services, reach out to the Volunteer Internship and ADA Coordinator at [email protected] or call (704) 337-2081 to arrange support for your visit.
