Lewis Family Gallery

The Lewis Family Gallery is a hands-on creative space where visitors of all ages can dive into the museum's collection through play and exploration. Kids can make art, work through building and puzzle challenges, take photos, and step inside a playhouse inspired by artist Romare Bearden's collages. It's a great way to introduce families to the museum in an interactive, low-pressure environment. Admission to the gallery is included with your general museum ticket, so there's no extra cost. The museum maintains thorough cleaning practices to keep the space safe for all visitors. If you need accessibility accommodations or services, the museum is happy to help—just reach out to their ADA Coordinator at (704) 337-2081 or [email protected] for details about what's available.
