Lewis Family Gallery

The Lewis Family Gallery is a hands-on space where kids and grown-ups alike can dive into creative activities centered around the museum's collection. Your family can make art, take on building and puzzle challenges, snap photos, and step into an interactive Romare Bearden collage playhouse. It's designed for visitors of all ages to explore and learn together in an engaging environment. The museum maintains rigorous cleaning standards to keep everyone safe. Admission to the gallery is included with general museum entry, so there's no extra cost once you've paid to visit. The space is open on specific days and times throughout the week, giving you several chances to stop by. If you or anyone in your group needs accessibility accommodations or services, the museum is happy to help—just reach out to the Volunteer Internship and ADA Coordinator ahead of your visit for more details about what's available.
