Early-morning exploration program for little kids at Anne Springs Close Greenway.
Little Explorers is a six-week program designed for toddlers and preschoolers (ages 2–3 and up) to discover the outdoors with a parent or caregiver by their side. Each session combines structured learning with unstructured play, featuring a different theme each day along with a song, hands-on activity, and a nature walk. A trained instructor guides both children and adults in building comfort and confidence in outdoor settings while exploring what nature has to offer.
Classes meet once per week for one hour and are offered on Mondays or select Thursdays, depending on the session. The cost is $165 per child for the entire six-week session, with a 20 percent discount available for Greenway members. A caregiver must attend the full class. Please note that not all hikes are stroller-friendly, and siblings under age two do not require registration. The program runs rain or shine, with makeup dates provided only in cases of severe weather cancellations.
