Mad City Money
Real-life money-management game where kids navigate jobs, homes, and life decisions.
Mad City Money is an interactive workshop where teens step into a financial simulation game. Participants receive a secret identity, a starting salary, and real-world challenges to navigate—finding housing, buying a car, supporting a family, and handling unexpected expenses. The simulation tests whether they can manage their budget wisely or if surprise bills will derail their finances. It's a hands-on way to explore money management without the real-world consequences.
This program is designed for young people ages 12 to 18 and runs for 90 minutes. Registration is required and opens October 5 by phone or online. Space is limited to 50 participants, and spots are filling up. If you're interested in giving your teen practical insight into budgeting and financial decision-making, this workshop offers valuable learning in an engaging format.
