Nature Story Time

Story time in nature with a follow-up activity at Gifford Pinchot State Park.

A librarian from Red Land Library will lead a delightful outdoor story session followed by a hands-on nature activity inspired by the book. The whole program runs about an hour, giving children a chance to connect stories with the natural world around them. This is a wonderful way to combine your kids' love of reading with outdoor exploration. The program is completely free and requires no advance registration—just show up and join in. It takes place outdoors at Sunnyside Pavilion in the Conewago Day Use area, so families can enjoy the park setting while participating. This is a great fit for young readers who enjoy nature and interactive learning experiences.
