Once Upon a Lap

This intimate storytime program invites babies and toddlers (newborn through 23 months) and their caregivers to spend quality time together through stories, songs, fingerplays, and simple movement activities. The six-week session is designed to help you and your little one bond while enjoying age-appropriate entertainment. The program keeps enrollment small, capped at 30 children, to maintain a comfortable atmosphere for the youngest learners. Registration is required and opens August 31—you can sign up online or by phone. Because this is a six-week series, registering for one session registers you for all six weeks. Only the registered child should attend, please. The program incorporates social and emotional learning, helping babies and toddlers begin building foundational skills around recognizing and responding to feelings, both in themselves and others.
