Once Upon a Lap

This interactive program invites babies and toddlers (birth through 23 months) and their caregivers to spend quality time together through storytelling, singing, fingerplays, and movement activities. The six-week session is designed to help little ones develop early literacy skills while strengthening the bond between child and caregiver in a nurturing environment. Registration is required and opens August 31. You can sign up online or by calling (803) 981-5888. The program is capped at 30 children, so spots fill quickly—if the session is full when you register, you'll be added to the waitlist. Please plan to bring only your registered child to the program. The curriculum emphasizes social and emotional growth, helping children begin to recognize and understand feelings in themselves and others.
