Orienteering

Orienteering adventure at Anne Springs Close Greenway.

Get ready to navigate your way through the outdoors! This hands-on program teaches families the fundamentals of map reading, compass skills, and navigation. After mastering these essentials indoors, you'll head out to the actual orienteering course where the real adventure begins. Kids and adults work together to solve navigation challenges, tackle problems as a team, and explore the natural surroundings in a guided, organized setting. The session runs for 90 minutes and costs $32 per person (members receive a 20% discount). All ages are welcome, though children must have an adult with them. Just wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle. This program is part of the Explorer Series—attend six different Explorer activities throughout the year and earn exclusive commemorative gear. Rain or shine, the program goes on unless severe weather forces a cancellation, which would result in a full refund.
