Party in the Park: Artist Market

Bring your family to an outdoor afternoon celebrating local artists and creativity. Browse the Guild of Charlotte Artists 2026 Artist Market while enjoying live music and food trucks on the museum lawn. Best of all, general admission to the Mint Museum is included free with your visit, so you can explore the galleries before or after browsing the market. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to get comfortable while you take in the atmosphere. At 2 PM, stick around for a special artist talk featuring renowned North Carolina ceramic artist Mark Hewitt discussing "The Past, Present, and Future of North Carolina Ceramics." A panel discussion with ceramic artists Cynthia Bringle, Travis Owens, and Ibrahim Said will follow, offering insight into the local art community. A cash bar on the front terrace offers refreshments. This free event works wonderfully for families interested in art, live entertainment, and outdoor fun.
