Paws to Read at South County Regional Library (grades K-5)

**Paws to Read Program** Does your child love animals and books? This program pairs young readers with friendly therapy dogs to boost confidence and reading skills in a supportive, low-pressure setting. Kids bring their own book or select one from the library's collection, then spend time reading aloud to their canine companion. It's a wonderful way to practice reading skills while enjoying the calming presence of a gentle dog. The program welcomes students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Each family can register for one 15-minute session per week, with a limit of two children per family per session. Best of all, there's no cost to participate.
