Paws to Read at SouthPark Regional Library (ages 5-11)

Does your child love animals and reading? This volunteer-led program gives kids a chance to practice their reading skills in a low-pressure, encouraging setting. Each child gets a 15-minute session to read aloud to a trained therapy dog—a fun way to build confidence and enthusiasm for reading while bonding with a furry friend. The program is completely free and open to children ages 5–11. Registration opens one week before each session, and you'll need to sign up with your child's name for one weekly slot.
