Teens share poetry in PJs with Rock Hill's Youth Poet Laureate.
Teens are invited to spend an evening celebrating poetry and creative writing with Kh'Mani Gilliam, Rock Hill's Youth Poet Laureate. Attendees should wear comfortable pajamas and bring along a favorite poem or short story—whether it's something you've written yourself or a piece by another author that speaks to you. This is a great opportunity to share what you love about poetry and storytelling in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
This program is designed for young people ages 12 to 18 and welcomes a maximum of 15 participants. Registration is required and opens on September 2—you can sign up online or by calling the library. The event focuses on developing creative expression and helping teens engage with different literary styles and techniques in a supportive environment.
