Preschool Storytime

This in-person storytime session is designed for preschoolers ages 3 to 5, with a focus on building early literacy skills and preparing children for kindergarten. Each session runs for 30 minutes and features engaging stories paired with age-appropriate learning activities. The program rotates through themed weeks, so your child will encounter different topics throughout the year—from dinosaurs and nature to museums and mythical creatures—keeping each visit fresh and exciting. Sessions happen weekly on Wednesday mornings at the Youth Services Program Room in the Statesville Library location. Registration opens in early September, so you'll want to sign up promptly to secure your spot.
