Preschool Storytime

Early literacy storytime for preschoolers with themes like moods, movement, and senses.

Join us for a half-hour storytime designed to build early literacy skills in children ages three to five. Each session explores a different theme to spark curiosity and prepare your child for kindergarten. In January, your little one might hear stories about feelings, bravery, movement, or the five senses—with themes rotating through topics like friendship, sports, and libraries in the months ahead. This in-person program welcomes preschoolers and younger siblings in a dedicated youth space. Sessions run weekly on Wednesday mornings. Registration opens the Wednesday before each session, so mark your calendar if you'd like to secure a spot. For questions or more details, reach out to Ashley Fox, the library's program specialist.
