Preschool Storytime

Join us for an engaging storytime designed with your preschooler in mind. This 30-minute session builds early literacy skills and kindergarten readiness through stories, activities, and themed exploration. Each week features a different topic—October brings nocturnal animals and creepy crawlies, perfect for sparking your child's curiosity about the world around them. The program welcomes children ages 3 to 5, making it an ideal introduction to the library for younger learners. Sessions run from 10:00 to 10:30 AM and take place in the Youth Services Program Room at Statesville Library. Registration opens on October 7th for the October 21st session, so mark your calendar. If you have questions about the program or need more details, the library's Program Specialist Ashley Fox is happy to help at 704-878-3090 ext. 3097 or via email.
