Process Art Adventures – Chesterfield

Creative, open-ended art play at Children's Museum of Richmond's Chesterfield location.

Process Art Adventures offers young children a chance to jump into hands-on creative exploration at the Chesterfield location. During these weekly art sessions, your child will engage with different art-making processes through playful, experimental activities designed to build skills that support school readiness. The focus is on the "how" of creating rather than finished products, giving kids room to explore, discover, and learn naturally through artistic play. Best suited for preschool and early elementary-aged children, these sessions run every Tuesday and cost nothing beyond regular museum admission. Each session lasts one hour, giving your child plenty of time to dive into activities and express creativity in a supportive environment. It's a wonderful way to nurture your child's curiosity and confidence with art while developing important learning skills.
