Remembered Story Trail Through the Wetlands

Take your family on a self-guided journey through Nixon Park's natural wetlands area. Starting from the parking lot, you'll follow story pages that lead you across a wetland bridge and into the forest. As you walk the trail, read along with the pages of the story—it's a fun way to explore nature while enjoying a narrative adventure together. This activity is completely free and available daily during regular park hours, making it easy to fit into your schedule. Families of any size can participate on a drop-in basis. However, if you're planning to bring a group of 10 or more people, you'll need to register ahead of time by calling (717) 428-1961 x1 or emailing NixonCountyPark@YorkCountyPA.gov. When you register, have ready your name, the number of participants, the children's ages, and a contact phone number.
