Remembered Story Trail Through the Wetlands

Take your family on a self-guided journey through Nixon Park's natural landscape. Starting from the parking area, you'll cross over the wetland bridge and venture into the forest while following story pages that guide your path. It's a wonderful way to combine outdoor exploration with a narrative experience—just read along as you walk and discover what unfolds with each step. This activity runs daily during regular park hours, making it flexible for your schedule, and best of all, it's completely free. Families of any size can participate independently, though if you're bringing a group of 10 or more, you'll need to register ahead by phone at (717) 428-1961 x1 or by emailing NixonCountyPark@YorkCountyPA.gov. When registering, have ready your name, the number of people coming, children's ages, and a contact number.
