Remembered Story Trail Through the Wetlands
Self-guided story trail through Nixon Park's wetlands: follow pages and explore nature daily.
Explore Nixon Park's self-guided story trail at your own pace during regular park hours. Starting from the parking lot, you'll follow story pages that lead you across the wetland bridge and into the forest, where you can read each page of the narrative as you discover the natural surroundings. It's a wonderful way to combine a nature walk with imaginative storytelling.
This activity is completely free and works well for families of any size. If you're planning to bring a group of 10 or more people, registration is required—just call (717) 428-1961 x1 or email NixonCountyPark@YorkCountyPA.gov with your group size, children's ages, and contact information. Kids who enjoy both outdoor exploration and creative stories will find plenty to engage them here.
