Take your family on a self-guided adventure through Nixon Park's natural areas. Starting from the parking lot, you'll cross over a wetland bridge and venture into the forest while following story pages that unfold as you walk. It's a leisurely way to explore the outdoors and enjoy a narrative experience at your own pace. This activity is free and available daily during regular park hours, making it easy to fit into your schedule whenever it works best for your family. Groups of 10 or more do need to register in advance by calling (717) 428-1961 x1 or emailing NixonCountyPark@YorkCountyPA.gov—just provide your name, number of participants, children's ages, and a contact number. It's suitable for families of all ages who enjoy walking trails and a bit of storytelling in nature.
