Remembered Story Trail Through the Wetlands

Self-guided story trail through Nixon Park's wetlands; open daily.

**Remembered Story Trail Through the Wetlands** Take your family on a self-guided adventure through Nixon Park's natural areas. Starting from the parking lot, you'll follow story pages that lead you over a wetland bridge and into the forest. As you walk the trail, you'll read the unfolding story at different stations along the way. It's a wonderful blend of outdoor exploration and storytelling that encourages kids to stay engaged as they move through the landscape. This activity is completely free and available daily during regular park hours, making it easy to fit into your schedule whenever it works best for your family. Groups of ten or more do need to register ahead of time by calling (717) 428-1961 x1 or emailing NixonCountyPark@YorkCountyPA.gov—just provide your name, number of participants, children's ages, and contact information. It's a great option for families who enjoy nature walks and want an interactive element that keeps younger kids interested throughout the outing.
