Remembered Story Trail Through the Wetlands

Take your family on a self-guided adventure through Nixon Park's natural areas. Starting from the parking lot, you'll follow story pages that lead you over the wetland bridge and into the forest. As you walk the trail, read along with the narrative pages to discover the landscape in a whole new way. This is a wonderful activity for families who enjoy exploring outdoors while enjoying a bit of storytelling along the journey. The trail is available daily during regular park hours, making it easy to fit into your schedule whenever works best for your family. Best of all, it's completely free! If you're planning to visit with a group of 10 or more people, you'll need to register in advance by calling (717) 428-1961 x1 or emailing NixonCountyPark@YorkCountyPA.gov. When you register, just provide your name, the number of people in your group, the ages of any children, and a contact number.
