Families looking to ease into fall should consider this overnight camping experience at Lake Haigler. The event combines classic campfire activities—roasting s'mores, gathering around the fire, and taking guided night hikes—with live music performances at the Greenway Canteen. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the crisp morning air and outdoor camaraderie. The venue provides communal firepits and all firewood, so families just need to bring tents and sleeping gear. Check-in runs from 4–6 p.m. on Saturday, with checkout by 10 a.m. Sunday. Dining is flexible: families can purchase meals at the Greenway Canteen (including beer and wine for adults) or cook their own food over the fire. Well-behaved leashed dogs are welcome. Pricing is $22 per adult, $13 per child ages 3–12, with free admission for children under 2. Members receive a 20% discount. Registration is required, and the event runs rain or shine unless severe weather forces cancellation. Note that tent camping only is permitted—no campers, trailers, or RVs.
