Slime Time: The La Brea Tar Pits

Kids ages 12 to 18 are invited to get messy and creative at this hands-on arts and crafts program. Participants will make their own miniature tar pit using slime—a fun, tactile way to explore a bit of natural history. Since things will get sticky, we recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting messy in. The library will provide gloves and aprons to help protect clothing and make cleanup easier.
