Spanish Immersion
Spanish Immersion at Youth Services Program Room
Miriam Chalita-Dorta leads this Spanish conversation group for adults looking to build confidence with the language in a supportive environment. Rather than formal instruction, the session uses guided discussion prompts in Spanish to keep the conversation flowing naturally, giving everyone a chance to participate and practice together. It's a great fit if you're hoping to strengthen your speaking skills without the pressure of a traditional classroom.
The program runs for an hour and welcomes adults 18 and up. A spot does require advance registration, and there are 25 seats available. If you'd like more details about what to expect or have questions before signing up, Jenny Levins-Hertel, the Community Engagement Librarian, is happy to help at 704-878-3090 ext. 3098 or by email.
