Sprouts at Stowe
Nature-based early-learning program at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.
Sprouts at Stowe is a nature program designed specifically for the littlest explorers in your family. During this 45-minute to hour-long session, children ages 2–4 discover the natural world alongside a parent, grandparent, nanny, or other trusted adult through songs, movement, and creative hands-on activities. Each gathering centers on an age-appropriate nature theme that encourages curiosity and lets kids learn through play in a relaxed, engaging environment.
The program is active and movement-based, so expect your child to spend time singing, wiggling, and exploring both indoors and out. The craft portion typically takes place at tables where participants work while standing, though a limited number of chairs and ground mats are available. Adults are welcome to bring their own chair if they'd prefer to sit during quieter activities. An accompanying adult must participate with each child, and registration is required. The cost is $10 per child.
