Stand Up Paddleboarding Clinic

Stand-up paddleboarding clinic at Lake Haigler—learn to paddle on the water!

This hands-on clinic introduces paddleboarders to the basics of stand-up paddling in a welcoming group setting. Each session kicks off with an orientation that covers essential safety information, proper technique, and how to smoothly get on and off the board. Once you've got the fundamentals down, you'll paddle out onto Lake Haigler to practice what you've learned, with the instructor available on the water to offer pointers and encouragement along the way. The clinic works well for beginners of all ages—kids as young as 8 can participate as long as they're accompanied by an adult. Come prepared with closed-toe water shoes and a water bottle; the facility provides space to store your dry clothes, towel, and personal items nearby. Registration is $32 per person, with a 20% discount available for Greenway members. This program is part of the Explorer Series, a collection of beginner-friendly outdoor activities designed to help families try something new and build community.
