Story Time at Pinchot Park
Nature stories and activities with library staff at Pinchot State Park.
Join two enthusiastic storytellers—Miss Beth from the park and Miss Carol from the local library—for an outdoor story time celebrating nature. Your children will listen to engaging tales and participate in hands-on nature activities, all while enjoying the fresh air at Gifford Pinchot State Park. This program runs weekly on Tuesdays through early August, giving families multiple opportunities to attend.
The program is completely free and requires no registration—just show up and enjoy! Gatherings take place at the Sunshine Pavilion in the Conewago Day Use Area, making it easy to combine story time with other park activities. Whether your kids are budding nature enthusiasts or simply love a good story, this is a wonderful way to spend a Tuesday morning outdoors with the family.
