Summer VolunTeen Opportunity
Teen volunteer opportunity at York County Library.
Teens ages 12 to 18 are invited to volunteer with the Teen department and gain real work experience over the summer. During this one-hour session, volunteers will help with behind-the-scenes tasks like setting up and taking down programs, assisting with craft activities, and organizing materials. It's a great way for young people to contribute to the library while exploring what it takes to run teen programming.
Registration is required and opens two weeks before the volunteer date. Spots fill up quickly—there are limited seats available. You can register online or call to sign up. Beyond just completing tasks, this program emphasizes social and emotional growth, helping teens develop stronger relationships and better understand their own feelings and those of others.
