Summer Wonder: Fishing

Your child will spend an afternoon learning to fish at this hands-on program led by a naturalist along Codorus Creek. All equipment—rods and bait—will be supplied, along with instruction for beginners. The activity focuses on catch-and-release fishing, so kids get to experience the thrill of fishing without keeping their catches. You'll meet at the parking area at the end of River Farm Road. This program works well for children ages 6 to 12 and their siblings. A responsible adult must stay with children throughout the activity. Registration is required to participate, so be sure to sign up ahead of time through the event listing.
