Teen Chess Club

Teen Chess Club gives young players a welcoming space to enjoy this classic game together. Whether your teen already knows their way around the board or has never played before, they're welcome to join. The relaxed atmosphere means everyone can learn at their own pace, and experienced players can sharpen their skills while helping newer members get the hang of the game. This monthly gathering meets on the second Tuesday of each month for an hour and a half. It's open to teens ages 12–18, and there's no need to sign up in advance—just show up and play. Beyond the chess itself, the program supports teens in developing emotional awareness and building respectful friendships with peers who share their interests.
